Adriano Pereira is a local surfer (and a passionate Benfica fan), born in Jardim do Mar. He learnt to surf in the big wave of Ponta Jardim. That is why he does not find this wave so difficult or scary...

Tony Kitchell is from Wales and lives in Jardim do Mar in the Winter for many years now. Tony is a creative painter and an intelligent humoured person. He and Rose are already jardineiros.



Kristjan Higdon fell in love with Jardim do Mar more recently, after the massive construction that buried the beach. He is bold and brave (was a rugby player) and moved from America with his three (now four) guardian angels. He lives now happilly by the ocean, facing the wave of Ponta Jardim, over the promenade...
