Mazen Kerbaj (a tocar trumpet) nasceu em 1975 em Beirute, no Líbano, e vive lá desde então. Os comics, a pintura e a música preenchem a sua actividade. Foi apanhado no meio da actual guerra e criou o Kerblog, onde vai escrevendo e colocando desenhos sobre os acontecimentos.
