É esse um dos méritos do filme Lost Jewel of the Atlantic e da Save the Waves Coalition: tornar mais visível factos concretos (concrete...). A musa inspiradora, no que toca às construções no litoral, foi o paredão e promenade do Jardim do Mar. Nas imagens apenas se vê o enrocamento de protecção. Para trás fica o paredão e uma promenade de enorme largura, como uma estrada. O espaço ocupado pela promenade era também praia de calhau. Veja aqui.
If you do not see it, you may not believe it. That is one of merits of the film Lost Jewel of the Atlantic and Save the Waves Coalition: make visible very concrete... facts. The inspiring muse of the film, concerning the shoreline constructions, was the seawall and the promenade in Jardim do Mar (Madeira-Portugal). In the pictures you only see the protecting cement blocks. Behind it there is the seawall and the big and wide as a road promenade. The space occupied by the promenade was also a lava rock beach.
