Professores de luto e em luta 34: confirmação (bilingual text)

Se restassem dúvidas, as palavras e atitudes dizem tudo e têm rosto. Aqui fica um best of do pensamento elucidativo das acções no sector educativo, particularamente para os professores. A política educativa de Ronald Reagan nos EUA e de Margaret Thatcher na Inglaterra faz a sua aparição em Portugal pela mão de um governo socialista, tão neoliberal, em certos aspectos, como os governos conservadores atrás mencionados.

Não há dúvida da campanha contra os professores e a profissão. Campanha que se tornou de ódio ao suscitar-se determinados sentimentos na opinião pública, no desespero demagógico de procurar legitimar certas medidas. Os professores portugueses poderiam ser todos excelentes que apanhavam com tudo em cima do mesmo modo, porque o objectivo é cortar nos salários e ponto final. É uma operação financeira para baratear o custo do trabalho. O resto é floreado e marketing político para embalar a opinião pública (os eleitores).

Na biografia (aqui ou aqui) do PM não aparece a referência ao facto de ter sido professor. Será que a profissão docente é assim tão pouco nobre ou insignificante que mereça tal eclipse biográfico? Será que foi um professor pouco empenhado ou, para usar um termo popular, madraço? Será que tinha a cultura da falta?

If there were any doubts left, here are their own words and attitudes, which have have faces and say everything. Here is a best of of their thinking which helps to understand their education policies, specially for the teachers. The education policies of Ronald Reagan in the USA and Margaret Thatcher in England are now being applied in Portugal by a socialist government, but as neoliberal as the already mentioned conservative governments, in certain policies.

There is no doubt that there is a campaign against teachers and the profession. It became a hatred campaign when they tried to stimulate certain feelings in the public opinion towards teachers, in their demagogic dispair trying to legitimate certain radical political measures. The Portuguese teachers could all be excellent teachers but it would not make any difference, because the aim is to bring down the wages and that's it. It is a financial operation to make work cost less. The rest is just political marketing to mislead the public opinion (voters).

- Prime Minister of Portugal:
In the official biography is not mentioned the fact that the Portuguese Prime Minister was once a teacher. Does this biographical eclipse mean that teaching is not noble or it is not important? Does it mean that he was not a hardworking teacher? Does it mean he used to skive off work?

- Minister of Finances:
"In Portugal Education is expensive because teachers earn too much".

- Minister of Education:
"I lost the teachers but I won the public opinion."
"Many actors and musicians love their work and have bad salaries."

- Secretary of Education:
"It is false or wrong to think that the teachers are motivated by career progression."
